View of the interior of the church. The church was built from 1268 as part of the Carmelite convent, which is still existing today. Renovated in the 16th-17th centuries, it was damaged by a fire in 1771 and rebuilt internally in 1782. The façade, like in many Florentine churches, remained unfinished.
